Commercial Solar

Plan solar around the hours your business actually uses electricity.

Turn daytime demand into an advantage.

Commercial solar can serve offices, shops, schools, warehouses and other business premises in Pakistan. Resicon Energy reviews operating schedules, consumption and property constraints before proposing an installation. The business case should compare project costs with realistic generation and on-site use. Include holidays, seasonal demand, maintenance and electricity still purchased from the grid.

Design around your working day.

Consumption and tariff review

Review bills, opening hours, weekend demand and major loads. Interval data, where available, helps compare production with actual daytime demand.

Financial assumptions you can inspect

Separate generation, direct use and export estimates. Include maintenance, possible replacement costs and financing; payback needs a clear calculation.

Roof and ownership checks

Consider roof condition, landlord consent, loading limits, drainage and access. Fit the array around rooftop equipment and operational needs.

Work planned around operations

Agree access, working areas and shutdowns. Schools, clinics and trading businesses can need different work windows and backup arrangements.

A useful monitoring baseline

Compare generation over time. Consumption or export reporting may need extra meters; specify which measurements will be available.

Maintenance and expansion planning

Set cleaning, inspection and fault-reporting arrangements. Record plans for new machinery or floor space so expansion can be assessed.

Your path
to solar.

Clear steps, from the first conversation to a working system.

  1. 01

    Define the requirement

Share bills, hours, ownership details and critical loads that cannot tolerate interruption.

  2. 02

    Survey and model

Review infrastructure and compare generation with demand on working days, weekends and closures.

  3. 03

    Agree design and scope

Review equipment, costs and permissions. Confirm structural-check and connection-upgrade responsibilities.

  4. 04

    Coordinate installation

Set access and isolation windows with the premises manager. Record scope changes.

  5. 05

    Commission and review

Complete checks, provide operating information and establish performance-review data.

Business solar questions.

How do I assess commercial solar payback?

Compare complete cost with estimated annual net savings. State tariff, self-consumption, export, operating cost and replacement assumptions. Request a lower-generation scenario too. No single payback period applies to every business.

Does solar suit a business that closes on weekends?

It may, but account for reduced demand during closure. Sizing only around busy weekdays can leave more generation unused or exported under different terms. Share your weekly and seasonal schedule.

How much roof space does a 100 kW system need?

Panel model and layout determine area. Divide target DC capacity by panel wattage to estimate count, then allow for actual dimensions, tilt, spacing, access and obstacles. A fixed area without a surveyed layout is not a dependable purchase basis.

Can a commercial system be expanded later?

Possibly, subject to roof space, inverter limits, electrical capacity and revised approval requirements. Keep ratings and layout records. New panels are not automatically compatible with the existing inverter or grid agreement.

Are financing or tax benefits included?

Do not assume a loan, subsidy, exemption or instalment plan. Confirm availability and terms with the relevant provider in writing. Have your accountant review the applicable treatment for the business and purchase.

Will solar keep my business open during an outage?

Only a backup-capable design can supply agreed circuits without the grid. Identify essential IT, refrigeration and other loads separately. Verify transfer behaviour and runtime before relying on it for critical operations.
